In 1971, Les Patrick recognized a need for companies that maintained private commercial vehicle fleets. There had to be a more efficient and convenient way to service and maintain fleets without interrupting time-sensitive delivery needs, but there were no available solutions in the marketplace. And so Patrick Services, Inc. was born, with one technician, one service truck and a small shop.
The dual in-shop & on-site fleet service concept was an instant hit – so much so, in fact, that word-of-mouth advertising quickly spread throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. Soon there was too much business for one technician. The young company continually reinvested the money earned and used it to hire new technicians, upgrade the in-house service facilities and purchase new service trucks.
Over the years, that one technician and one service truck grew into many, and the customer list included top industry leaders in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In 2021, the company celebrated its 50th Anniversary. The original entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to quality still lives on today.
