A Preventive Maintenance Program is the key to successfully managing your fleet’s operating performance, and we operate with the premise that breakdowns cost more than allowing the maintenance time to properly service equipment. Your trucks and trailers work hard, and the best way to keep them available for the job every day is a preventive maintenance program.
We initially collect specific vehicle information such as year, make, model, VIN, mileage, engine specifics, serial numbers, tire sizes, etc. Then we are ready to work with you to determine an appropriate service interval based on your vehicle types, operating conditions and company policy. All information is logged and stored both in our computerized fleet maintenance program as well as in your permanent files at our office. Each time your vehicles are serviced, our records are updated to include complete vehicle and service details. A copy of the inspection is forwarded to your management team, and included are any notes regarding potential mechanical problems that were discovered during the standard mechanical inspection. We are able to track when the next services are due and will notify you with a sufficient lead time to schedule the next service. Complete multi-year computer-generated service histories are also available upon request.
Our Preventive Maintenance services are not of the simple drop & fill variety. We provide full-service inspections that not only include changing the engine oil, filters and lubricating the entire vehicle, but also everything from recording tire tread depths and pressures, measuring remaining brake life and testing batteries to complete inspections of your engine, drivetrain, suspension, hoses, belts, etc. Oil and fuel sample analysis can also be added to any Preventive Maintenance Program.
We offer Preventive Maintenance services both in-shop and on-site through our fleet of custom-built lube trucks. Give us a call for more details on how we can extend the life of your fleet!
